Job Description
Our client is a financial solutions (fintech) company for the rental market operating in partnership with real estate companies (B2B2C). Fast-growing company with great opportunities. Key responsibilities and activities: The Head of Legal will be responsible for leading and supervising all legal operations and strategies of the company, ensuring compliance with regulations and protecting the company's legal interests. This strategic role involves advising on all stages of legal processes, risk mitigation, and ensuring legal security. Responsibilities include: - Leading and coordinating all legal topics, promoting a culture of excellence and a focus on results. - Collaborating with the team in daily routines, demands, and operational legal tasks. Supporting all legal activities, including litigations, contracts, intellectual property, and regulatory issues. - Managing fraud prevention, incident handling, litigation, commercial terms and contracts, M&A, regulatory aspects, compliance, and corporate governance. - Identifying and evaluating legal and regulatory risks, proposing solutions to mitigate these risks. - Ensuring that the company is in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, supporting strategic decisions and aligning with current real estate regulations. - Providing legal advice to internal teams on contract-related issues, negotiations, and daily operations. - Monitoring and implementing risk management policies, including tracking changes in real estate legislation and regulation that may affect operations. - Reviewing and drafting commercial contracts, partnership agreements, and other critical legal documents for the company's operations. - Representing the company in interactions with regulatory bodies and government agencies. - Staying updated on legislative and regulatory changes that may impact the company. - Managing and developing the legal team, promoting a collaborative work environment and high performance. - Offering training and continuous development to the team, ensuring they are updated on best practices and changes in the law. Technical requirements: - Law degree. Postgraduate or specialization in Real Estate Law or Corporate Law will be an advantage. - Proven experience in legal areas, preferably in the real estate sector or specialized law firms. - Previous leadership experience is essential. - Proficiency in real estate law, contract law, corporate law, and compliance. - Familiarity with regulatory legislation and administrative processes. - Proven ability in team management, effective communication, and strategic decision-making.
